With our global partnership and great team of contributors, Myglobalmind was able to get coverage of Stockholm Rocks 2014, A new Hard Rock event that saw the light of day in Stockholm on Saturday, May 3rd 2014. This 1 day indoor festival featured the following bands listed below:

 

TNT

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the album “Intuition” and what could be better than a reunion with the band’s original lead singer, Tony Harnell!

HEAT 

With singer and Idol winner Erik Grönvall spearheaded and April 9 released the Heat their fourth album “Tearing down the walls” which has received rave reviews. HEAT has toured worldwide and has built up its reputation as one of the new and leading bands in the melodic rock. Do not miss the HEAT and their gig which is the only one in Stockholm in 2014.

GUS G

Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist has just released her solo debut “I am the fire”, which came in March. Gus G collaborateswith, among others, singer Mats Leven (Candlemass), which will be featured on this show. The first single and video”My will be done” is released and it will be an evening of superb guitar playing can be guaranteed when Gus G gets up on stage.

MARTY FRIEDMAN

The former Megadeath guitarist is also up to date with a new solo album in the spring and bearing the title of “Inferno”. Marty has also he a large collection of famous guests on their record such as Alexi Laiho (Children Of Bodom), David Davidson (Revocation) and we we can promise guitar playing world class

RECKLESS LOVE

The band released in 2013 their third album “Spirit” and has toured extensively in the UK and has also garnered success in the American music scene. More and more people have paid attention to this colorful Finnish band and now it’s time for Sweden!

IMBER

The Swedish girl-based metal band will be the first to play at Stockholm Rocks and is also concerned with a new single.
