Former Ozzy Osbourne and Badlands guitarist Jake E. Lee announced a June 2014 UK tour for his new band Red Dragon Cartel. The announcement followed the release of the band’s debut self-titled album earlier this year. MGM has covered the band already live on a few occasions, one during the massive NAMM convention in California, and a second time during one of their NA dates in New Jersey.

Starting here at the O2 Academy Islington on June 6, the run of dates included support from Syron Vanes and Jupiter Falls.

The new Album (Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel) was cut at the Hideout Studio’s. Produced by R. Bernard Mann. AKA Ronnie Mancuso and Jake. Executive Produced, Mixed and Mastered by Kevin Churko. The album is complete and will be released on the Frontiers label in January. January 27th.

The new band members was culled from over a thousand submissions from a “Jake E. Lee needs a lead singer and drummer Facebook page” finally they found the perfect combination with English born Vocalist Darren James Smith, and Vancouver based drummer- vocalist Jonas Fairley. The album also features such guests as legendary vocalist Robin Zander from Cheap Trick, Original Iron Maiden Vocalist Paul Di’Anno. Former Pantera Bassist Rex Brown. Slash’s Conspirator’s, Todd Kearns and Brent Fitz and new chart toppers like Maria Brink from “In this Moment” “Five Finger Death Punches,” Jeremy Spencer and Scott Reeder, (Kyuss.) With the majority of tracks recorded with the new permanent members. “Jake E Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel” is about to blast off. This amazing virtuoso guitarist with his new band will once again grace the rock world with the lights shining even brighter.
