On July 22 Rock Fuel Media in association with Loud & Proud Records will release “METAL MELTDOWN – FEATURING TWISTED SISTER LIVE AT THE HARD ROCK CASINO – LAS VEGAS”, A DVD /Blu Ray / CD set documenting the legendary glam metal stalwarts first live performance without long time drummer AJ Pero.

Following Pero’s tragic death on March 15 2015 at the age of 55, the metal mavens announced that 2016 would be their final tour cycle, celebrating their 40th anniversary & paying homage to their fallen friend.

Captured in stunning hi def & 5.1 surround sound director Brian Lockwood captures the bands first concert featuring drummer extraordinaire Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold).
With Portnoy bashing the skins behind them, the remaing classic Twisted line up of Dee Snider, Mark “The Animal” Mendoza, Jay jay French and Eddie Ojeda tear through a raucous 90 minute, hit filled set celebrating their 40 years year history.
In addition to the full concert the 3 disc set includes the documentary featurette “Rockshow”, an in depth chronicling of the bands storied history from East Coast club sensations to the height of super stardom , using new interviews conducted at The Hard Rock Casino, as well as archival footage.

If you’re a die hard S.M.F. it’s really a no brainer to grab this excellent video and if your a causal Twisted Sister fan see why their live shows are the stuff of legend to this day.
