In an apparent break with tradition, Cotswolds based Amplified Festival has released a monster-sized chunk of its lineup for the event’s return in 2018, including some blockbuster Headliners…

Revealing the first Festival Poster for 2018, organisers said “Our first year met its challenges, in no small part thanks to the weather, and as a result we’ve invited back some of the bands whose slots were affected to put things right. On the subject of returns, after a show-stopping performance in 2017 we felt it only right to bring back the mighty EVIL SCARECROW to headline the main stage on Friday night. After all, if a scarecrow can scare off birds, then surely an Evil one this loud can keep that pesky rain at bay for the weekend!

We’ve also looked outside of the UK and Ireland to add some special flavours to this year’s event: EVIL INVADERS will be bringing their old school trash vibe from Belgium, JAY WUD bring hard rock from Dubai, German thrashers DUST BOLT are currently making big waves on an international scale, Bay Area legends X-METHOD travel from the US, ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK from Japan bring a truly unique show that has to be seen… Australia provides some immense talent in the form of TEQUILA MOCKINGBYRD, RAGDOLL, and ARCANE SAINTS, the outrageous SOAPGIRLS from South Africa, and we are exceptionally proud to announce the amazing PSYCHOSTICK as Saturday headliners on the Very Metal Art stage. The Chicago based living legends need little introduction having built a cult-like status over the last few years, and they promise to raise a field full of fists, and quite possibly an eyebrow or two. With the remaining headliners and two special guests still to be revealed, we’re very proud of a line-up that promises to provide a weekend of top-grade rock, punk and metal in an incredible outdoor setting in the heart of Gloucestershire.”

The final headliners and special guests are due to be announced around Christmas along with this year’s Harley
Davidson competition, which last time saw one lucky winner taking away a brand new Harley Davidson Sportster.
Early Bird tickets are still available until January 31st priced from £84.50 (including booking fee) for the whole
weekend via: http://www.amplifiedrocks.com/2018-earlybirds
