It’s an excellent performance. The orchestra brings a very real energy to the music. The sound is good and, for the most part, the camera work and editing are well done. For some of the old timers rockers you may remember that during the early 70’s Deep Purple had already done one album with an orchestra – Jon Lord’s Concerto for Group and Orchestra.
The “difference” factor makes this one breakthrough, is not your typical number, it’s modern rock with an unusual aroma of 80’s ballsy groove. I have always pertained that balance, good songwriting and interesting melodies and hooks can breathe new life into an album
