The fourth installment from Swedish Metallers Hellfueled comes to the forefront after taking a short break from extensive touring with bands such as Mustasch, Saxon, Europe, Masterplan, etc over the last years. In case you didn’t know the rich story of Hellfueled can be traced back to the early 1990’s as kids mere kids jamming together Jocke and Andy found a natural thing in common, playing old school heavy metal.
It’s an excellent performance. The orchestra brings a very real energy to the music. The sound is good and, for the most part, the camera work and editing are well done. For some of the old timers rockers you may remember that during the early 70’s Deep Purple had already done one album with an orchestra – Jon Lord’s Concerto for Group and Orchestra.
Guitar virtuosos are few and far in between, the typical trend amongst them is usually their roles as mere instrumentalists, many which never get a chance to play with an actual band and have their intake into a full band’s collective and creative process.
