it was shocking that Accept didn’t end the show as it made more sense they would be more known in the area than Kreator. But even if the numbers had dwindled some, they still got a great reception, and had a pretty decent pit going. If you’re a fan of this band and not seen them live, do yourself a favor and rectify that if and when they come to your area.
For lovers of crunchy, riff driven hard rock, strong bluesy vocals, hooks that you can hang a shark off and choruses that stick in your head for days to come, you need look no further. Lets hope that the band gets the chance to repeat the successes of the early 1990s. Although it’s a nice position to be in, it is going to be hard work for Alfonzetti to manage this, Red, White and Blues plus potentially more work with Impera as well. I’d suggest he gets Jeff Scott Soto on speed dial asap for tips!
Instantly comparisons to Lacuna Coil popped in my head. Her voice is not unlike that of Christina Scabbia’s and musically they tend to lean more towards the heavier edge with the melodic sense that keeps their sound current. On first listen I was ready to say they were more or less a copy band, which in and of itself isn’t a bad thing
