Don’t know about you, but I get a royal pain in my face hearing of new, up and coming rock bands constantly been touted as “ the saviours of rock n roll“, or terms to that effect. All too often the statements turn out to be grossly wide off the mark, and the majority of the bands usually disappear up the arsehole of anonymity. The latest band to be given that said treatment is Inglorious, who have been called “the future of British rock“.
Since a member of the band took it upon themselves to send me physical product, I decided I would give it my utmost scrutiny. That day I had some errands to run, so I popped the CD into my car’s player and headed on my way. When the bouncy riff of opening track “Between Sky And Ground” began I had mixed feelings.
Black Friday offers Dubliners not one, but two metal events to choose from; the Redemption Fest headlined by local heroes Primordial in the Academy, and Protest the Hero headlining a show in the Voodoo lounge.
