“Songs like “The Pain Of The Accused” or “Doomsday” or “Compassion” would somehow never fit on an Primal Fear album. Sometimes you have a certain kind of flow or a red line which makes an album diverse and brings a lot of variety. So those songs never really fit on an album of PF.”
There’s a clear buzz inside and outside of the Forum tonight. Blind Guardian have done what few bands are willing to do these days and listened to their fanbase and returned to England for what Hansi describes as the “opening and also the closing night of their UK tour”.
Well, once again WALL STREET is a different beast to anything the band has done previously and while some elements of the album work well, overall it just feels as though the band have come too far away from what made them great and have possibly over-reached this time around…
