KISS ROCK VEGAS To Be Released On Multiple Formats – August 26, 2016
These guys have always been about the message and about making a point, free music to lead a free world of punishment and control by corporations and government. Sure some call them hippy and communists, I call them visionaries
But what is most interesting about this show, besides the usual classics like ‘Heaven and hell’, ‘The last in line’, ‘Holy diver’, ‘Man on the silver mountain’, ‘Rainbow in the dark’ ‘We rock ‘and others are no less than six songs, taken from”Strange Highways” which the band performed live
Dennis DeYoung’s top 10 hit, “Come Sail Away”, and Tommy Shaw’s “Fooling Yourself”, THE GRAND ILLUSION stayed on the Billboard’s album charts for 2 years. The Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight brought STYX’s first string of triple platinum albums.
this tour was more of a warm up for the band and perhaps leading up to bigger things, maybe a new album? Who knows if that’s in the cards, as far as this night goes everything goes according to plan and is always good to have some Good Company along again to balance out the Bad Company in all of us.
it makes a great collector item for any fan of the band and for fans of great classic rock. The sound is great and even though the fans are a bit dormant, you can’t help and sit there in awe of Billy’s great guitar work and the rhythm and bass staple of Dusty Hill and company.
they have forever planted themselves in the classic rock Americana ground of best acts of all time. Go to a karaoke bar and you are bound to find some classic Heart hits to sing along with, you pop a local classic rock station and you hear “Barracuda” or “Crazy On You” played countless amount of times.
