The cheer that greeted Backyard Babies guitarist Dregen almost lifted the roof of The Garage. They then proceeded to lay waste to some of the Super$hit 666 songs as well as a storming cover of Motörhead’s ‘Ace of Spades’.

For the first time in years, the Wildhearts’ set was to feature Danny on bass once more during the encores, something that, naturally, had spiked interest in the fans and by the time the band arrived on stage, the crowd were chomping at the bit.
Chris Catalyst is certainly a busy man. Sunday night saw him perform a solo acoustic set at The Borderline, rapidly followed by a set with C.J. Wildheart at the same gig. Then a mere three days later, here he is again, playing alongside a host of familiar faces and special guests, celebrating the 50th birthday of one of Britain’s greatest singer songwriters, Ginger Wildheart!
