As soon as they began playing, crowd surfers began to rain on security, there was no one song that didn’t include a mosh pit
The Viking ship had arrived to the metal city of New York. This gig had been sold out for about 3 weeks prior to the show, further building up the hype for the always mighty Amon Amarth.
Not only would they play the album Covenant in it’s entirety but their setlist also featured songs for every release they had. The crowd surfers rained on the staff the second they begun playing a nothing but legendary set. The moshing only intensified throughout the night. One thing is certain that night was nothing less than brutal and legendary.
Since the release of the “The Wild Hunt” not only have Watain solidified their following worldwide, but gained many more fans. The NYC fans were for a night with the devil.
