“Maybe Tomorrow” is another shining pearl in Tramp’s solo career. If you get excited by very well-crafted rock music that includes heart and soul, you should check this album
World renowned vocalist Mike Tramp (White Lion, Freak Of Nature, Tramp Solo) has one of those instantly recognizable voices, a veteran of the rock and roll scene, “Tramp” has been on tour to promote his new album entitled ”Nomad”. I had the pleasure of catching ”Tramp” at the Corporation In Sheffield.
Mike Tramp, Danish born (Michael Trempenau), for those who don’t know has been around for a very long time. Trempenau started his musical career singing in Vesterbro Ungdomsgård, a youth group club in Copenhagen, and appears on their first album: Vi lever på Vesterbro (1974). In 1976, Trempenau, now known professionally as Tramp, joined the pop band ”Mabel” as the lead singer.
This is already his 7th or 8th solo album, and as I’ve been fan of Mike’s extremely unique ‘rough silk’-y voice, I was quite curious to see how does his new material sounds like.
