The Dirt, now streaming on NETFLIX based on their New York Times bestselling autobiography with Neil Strauss.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the release of Nikki Sixx’s drug-soaked NY Times bestselling memoir, THE HEROIN DIARIES and SiXX:A.M.’s The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack.
Nikki draws from his pain and sobriety for strength and inspiration in this raw and powerful new book and companion 11 track CD, This is Gonna Hurt.
Sixx:A.M. has never really been a political band. So, it’s a bit unusual for us to have dealt with so many things which feel like they are on more of a political level, but it would be irresponsible for us as artists not to address some of these issues that are are so global right now.
A beautiful album for Sixx A.M. Surely it could not be otherwise as the band presents us solid works, great songs, good music and that kind of rough rock that’s their trademark.
““We just didn’t give a f—. We did things our way, and we had a hell of a good time doing it.” Mötley Crüe, The End is here…
“We started focusing on our music not only as songwriters and lyricists but also stayed conscious of what would transfer over live to the audience.”
At the end of the day what you have here is a nice effort but nothing mind blowing. It has some pretty good songwriting especially on the song “Smile”, where lead singer James Micheal blasts out the line “What’s an angel like you doing with a devil like me”
