Mickey Thomas – Marauder

The one true consistency running through the album is the sublime vocals of Mickey Thomas, sure there’s a couple of tracks here where his vocal style actually takes way some of the grit that made them great in the first place but overall the Starship frontman is in impressive form here and shows that age hasn’t quite caught up with him yet…

His new album INSIDE OUT was originally released into North America only back in 2009 but has recently been picked up for re-release via Angel Air Records complete with an informative booklet and refreshed artwork. Though the album isn’t bad in any way, I can see why there wasn’t much fanfare about it the first time around…

Tommy James – A Night In Big City…Plus

As if that wasn’t enough to be worth your money, there are also eight…count ‘em again…eight bonus tracks that have been collected from various B-sides and unreleased demos from between 1974 to 1991. They vary in quality but each is a worthy addition and something that fans will want to delve into for sure…
