Rise & Shine is the new album from Nashville trio SIMO, which will be released on 15 September 2017 on Provogue/Mascot Label Group
On a day that definitely felt more ‘Kentucky’ than ‘Kent’, the line up across the stages offered more than it’s fair share of southern rock and roll and thanks to another blisteringly sunny day, was all the more welcome for it. A mixed bag of acts that allowed us to travel around a little more and experience the real spirit of Ramblin’ Man Fair 2016.
The random ramblings of our fair reporter Karen Hetherington continue as she shakes off the hangover, dusts of the felt boots, dons the cape and heads back to the festival. It’s also the day Planet Rock DJ Paul Anthony got his legs out for the crowd in front of 20,000 people.
Simo reveals new video and announces dates for upcoming shows.
Joe Bonamassa has been quoted as saying “JD Simo is one of the best out there” and after giving this album a listen or two, I would say he isn’t far wrong.
On 29 January 2016, Nashville trio SIMO will release their new album Let Love Show The Way on Provogue/Mascot Label Group (Joe Bonmasssa, Black Stone Cherry, Monster Truck, Walter Trout).
