This month sees the ‘First Annual Vive Le Rock Awards’ set to take place at London’s 02 Islington Academy on Wednesday March 28th.
Spearheading the punk scene back in the late 1970s with tracks like ‘No More Heroes’ and ‘Hanging Around’ which got a fantastic reception in Hyde Park, The Stranglers add a welcome slice of Brit Punk to the mix.
Another year, another reason for time travel to exist to allow people to view more than a dozen bands in a day. Roll on 2018 when we get to do it all over again.
There’s been times, of course, where you go, “Oh God. Maybe I should just walk away from it and do something else because it’s not working out no matter how hard you try.” It’s the music that keeps you going.
So many great bands have cut their teeth here and it’s a pleasure to continue to fly the flag high for new, up and coming bands alongside the big names each year
