Caravan’ and ‘BU2B’ will be featured on the legendary band’s forthcoming album, Clockwork Angels, due out in 2011.
‘Caravan’ and ‘BU2B’ were recorded earlier this year in Nashville with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz, who previously collaborated with Rush on 2007’s critically acclaimed Snakes & Arrows. Rush will return to the studio to resume recording after the completion of the upcoming Time Machine Tour, with plans to release their 20th studio album, Clockwork Angels, in 2011.
The Time Machine Tour will begin June 29th at Albuquerque, New Mexico’s Hard Rock Casino and then travel North America through early October (see below itinerary). The band is currently busy preparing for the tour, which include both ‘Caravan’ and ‘BU2B’ on each evening’s setlist alongside other Rush favorites. In addition, the band will be performing its 1981 masterpiece, Moving Pictures, in its entirety for the first time ever. Both ‘Caravan’ and ‘BU2B’ will also be offered as a special Limited Edition CD single, available to fans through the band’s official website as well as through various pre-sale tour packages.
