Needless to say it’s been quite a busy year for Halestorm, the American female fronted Hard Rock quartet. Quite successful in fact ever since the group won the grammy in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance Category, first time to win for a female-fronted band in that category; they have exploded on the scene. It was already set to be a very busy touring schedule after the guys released their sophomore relese “The Stange Case Of…” which has turned out to be their most successful record in their young careers. We caught the band live earlier this spring as they hit NYC at the Roseland Ballroom touring alongside Bullet for my Valentine and Stars in Stereo, performance was great and it was only a glimpse of things to come later in the year. The band has been relentlessly touring and have just announce a UK touring leg for early spring in 2014.

We we’re able to check them out again this past friday November 29th at Terminal 5 in NY, with support again from Stars in Stereo and RedLight Kings. Check out the live shots below as the band closes the chapter on a very successful year and look forward to more in 2014.

Halestorm, who are promoting their ‘ReAniMate 2.0? covers disc, and Redlight King, who issued ‘Irons in the Fire’ earlier this year, are teaming up for a late 2013 trek.

The tour arrives just in time for the holidays, with the trek launching Nov. 26 in Memphis. Shows will continue throughout the Midwest and East Coast during late November and December and tickets are on sale now.

Halestorm recently released their hard rocking cover of Daft Punk’s summer hit, ‘Get Lucky.’ It’s one of six new covers from the group, who also delivered their takes on songs from Marilyn Manson, Pat Benatar, Judas Priest, AC/DC and Fleetwood Mac.

Redlight King, meanwhile, have been riding the wave of success from their single ‘Born to Rise.’ The band just recently issued a video for the track with a wealth of motorcycle stunt riding. The clip, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at how the video was pulled off, can be seen here.
