The Danish heavy metal rockers have been busy touring for the last few years, but just released their sixth album entitled ‘Let’s seal The Deal And Boogie’ on June 3rd, and it’s led by the first track and smoking single ‘The Devil’s Bleeding Crown’. The song is catchy and full of great guitar riffs, and has the unmistakable vocals of guitarist/singer Micheal Poulson, which are spot on. This is one of our favorite songs off this album for sure and is, simply put, a great start for what’s to come.

The pace of this album, from one song to the next, is perfect. Every song seems to tie into the next one.  And the second single that’s been  released, ‘The Bliss’, is everything you could expect from Volbeat. The guitar work is amazing throughout, and the tracks ‘The Gate Of Babylon’, ‘Let It Burn’, ‘Rebound’ and ‘Goodbye Forever’ are stand out songs in the middle of a playlist that just plain rocks!

And when you get to the song ‘Seal The Deal’. This is about as heavy as it gets for these guys on this album. This fast paced tune is filled with slick guitar work by lead guitarist Rob Caggiano (The guitar solos are awesome!) and great vocals,  making this our favorite song on this album. We just can’t get enough of this song, put it on repeat! We’re hoping this is the next single to be released since it’s such a killer track.

As the album comes to a close, they slow it down a bit with the song  ‘You Will Know’ before kicking it back into gear with the great closing song ‘The Loa’s Crossroad’, which is another another kick ass rocker that finishes the album in style. There is not a single song that needs to be skipped throughout this tracklist.

The guys in Volbeat have put together a strong album for fans. Everyone should dig the songs and love each minute they get to play it. But the best part, is that after a bunch of early summer festival shows, Volbeat will be hitting the road  in August for a late summer/early fall US tour with support from Killswitch Engage and Black Wizard. And all fans need to get to a show close to them and check ’em out live!
