It was a very insane night. All bands performed quite well and made another memorable show. Opening band Oceano was great having fans interacting with them through the entire performance. The minimal lighting created a great atmosphere for the music and the feel of the performance.

Carnifex brought on a sea of fans that was heating the venue up as a great precursor to the headliners. Fans slowly got into the rhythm of the music and were all singing. Carnifex played well and interacted with the crowd, was a good thing to witness, as this was only the second time seeing these guys live.

Despised Icon took the entire show up to 9000. Fans literally pushing the barricade and crowd surfing nonstop. One of the singers ended up jumping into the crowd and fans went nuts. Both singers also interacted with the photographers a lot posting and screaming into the camera.

Whitechapel was nothing short of mayhem. Their entire set was filled with frenetic strobe lighting. Fans were moshing, a wall of death formed upon raging fans cheering for the band. The band just kept destroying the venue song by song. The pit was the biggest I have seen at Gramercy Theater. The venue was packed and as soon as the band ended, the venue was half empty. Fans had vacated somewhat after Whitechapel.

Suicide Silence played for the remaining fans that stayed behind. Of course, fans didn’t let the venue being half empty get to them. They all enjoyed the performance. Eddie Hermida the lead singer was all over the stage screaming his ass off and deliver each song with intense menace.

The So Cal Death Metal titans have been on a relentless tour run and showed the fans why their high energy show, lives up to the billing.

By now it would already been too late to check this tour out, but if you we’re lucky enough to catch this one, I hope you braised yourself, as it was intense. The “Straight Outta Hell” tour wrapped up last night in Las Vegas.
