Nigel Kennedy to perform live in the UK this December!

Right you lot, it’s time for a bit of culture innit as Britain’s leading violin virtuoso returns to The Regal, Evesham and MyGlobalMind will be there to see the show.

Nigel Kennedy has been widely acknowledged as one of the most important violinists Britain has ever produced, and is the best-selling classical violinist of all time. Since the age of 16, he has had an extraordinary career, giving public and private performances for members of the British royal family and receiving numerous awards including Outstanding Contribution to British Music and Male Artist of the Year at the UK Brit Awards.

This year, fans can catch Nigel Kennedy on tour in Germany, The Faroe Islands, Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Turkey and Switzerland, but there are only four dates in the UK: London, Brighton and two nights at The Regal Evesham on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 December 2016.

Laurence Wiper, Live Events Manager at the Regal, said; “After four sold out shows with Nigel in 2013 it is our pleasure to host another weekend of live music this December. Tickets for Nigel’s ‘From Bach to My World’ tour are selling fast so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.”

Tickets start from £50 and are available from The Regal’s website or by calling 01386 421 007.

About The Regal Cinema Evesham.

The Regal Cinema Evesham is a Grade II listed art deco style cinema, which originally opened in October 1932. After closing in 2003, the building deteriorated and a major restoration project began on the cinema in 2009. Its doors re-opened in January 2012, offering customers the opportunity to see the latest films, as well as a diverse range of live entertainment, screenings of national theatre productions and sporting fixtures. The venue also features two licensed café bars.

The Regal Cinema has preserved its original style and beautiful art deco features and was shortlisted for best rescue of any other heritage site in 2012 in The English Heritage Angel Awards.
