Coldspell, based in the north of Sweden, formed in 2005 by Michael Larsson, returns after three albums released, with a new record titled “A New World Arise”. Twelve songs of excellent and pure melodic rock. “Forevermore”, opens this album, a brilliant opener for a good record, it’s just like band presents the whole work in a track. Just the right start in the full Coldspell mood and style.

The second song “Call Of The Wild”, has something of magic in its music waves, great guitars between heavy and rock, epic sound and great proof for Niclas Svedentorp’s voice. The third track, “It Hurts”, is another good song, a potent piece of rock but probably less powerful of the previous two.

“Miles Away” is a spectacular track of harmonious hard rock, good guitars work and spectacular rhythms that make this piece a very adrenaline latent song, one to appreciate in a live show. The follower track “Signs”, shows the versatility of this band as they alternate the Hard Rock vibes to harmonic music, succeeding to give to fans another reason to love them. This is clearly more evident on the next tune,  “Love Me Like You Do” that contains a perfect southern rock in a classy way. “This is Me”, the seventh track, is an additional strong song, another piece of solid Rock that we come to expect from Coldspell.

“Get To The Top” sounds as an eighties piece, huge music in this song as well, good groove and catchy sound.
Another epic song “Wait Until Tomorrow”, with a prominent Arena Rock element to it, same goes for “Losing My Mind”. The penultimate track “Just One Night”, is an extraordinary example of how Hard Rock can be so multifaceted, so full of heavy guitars,  groove and melodic voice.

There couldn’t possibly be a stronger closer, “A New World Arise”, ends it in a powerful way, with classic and epic bang!!!

Coldspell made another great album, everything you could of hope for for a band known for their credibility and consistency.
