SONS – To Premiere New Video ‘Rise’

SONS are set to release their 4th single ‘Rise’ through TDDUP Records on 1st December 2017....

SONS are set to release their 4th single ‘Rise’ through TDDUP Records on 1st December 2017.

The bands 4th single ‘Rise’ is a convey belt of heavy bass and distorted punk-rock vocals which oozes a dark melodic undertone.

Brighton brothers Lee and Nick Meldrum exploded into the garage punk scene in January 2016 and it had been an upward trajectory since. Since releasing their first single ‘Reptiles’ It has been a whirlwind year for two-piece, who have recently signed to emerging DIY punk label Till Deaf Do U Party Records.

2017 has seen the band’s three previous singles heavily rotated on Radio X and Kerrang Radio. They also have two radio sessions under their belts, for Radio X and BBC introducing The South. Their last single ‘Zealot’ was also hand-picked by Soccer Am to be included in the show.

The band have also been busy on the road playing multiple gigs around the country with roarous sets at The Great Escape, Camden Rocks and Reading/Leeds festivals.

Rise was produced by Rob Quickenden at Ford Lane Studios in Arundel and mastered by Ali Gavan of Brighton Road Studios.

‘Rise’ is released on December 1st 2017.
