Scathed release new video and announce EP release date

Dublin-based Scathed have premiered the second single “Compromise Me” from their forthcoming EP “Where Truth Occurs”, due for release on October 11th 2019 (full release details below).

Vocalist Ainsley Kavanagh explained to us what the song is about:

“The lyrics for Compromise Me are about your boss, your parents, your teacher, anyone takes out their own frustration on people they see as subordinate to make themselves feel better about their lives. Compromise Me is about not letting anyone’s cheap shot break your spirit.”

Scathed Biography:

Formed in 2017, Scathed are a 5 piece hard rock/metal band based in Dublin. Presenting a sound of savage riffs, a calamitous rhythm section and an emotive vocal, Scathed offer their take on the darker side of the complex human experience. After the release of their debut single ‘Petrify’ in 2018, Scathed went on to play across Ireland. In September 2018 Scathed opened for Grammy award winning giants Halestorm in a sold out in a sold out Academy Dublin. 2019 saw Scathed into the semi-final of Bloodstock’s Metal 2 the Masses Ireland, gigging relentlessly throughout the year including a support slot with the notorious Dead Label and putting the final touches on their EP ‘Where Truth Occurs’ to be released in October 2019.
