Daxx & Roxane are back with their brand new single ‘Fast Lane’, released on all digital platforms on March 6th 2020.
’Fast Lane’ is an absolute return to form for Daxx & Roxane, from its fast-paced finger licking good guitar licks to it’s up-tempo rhythm section, both of which, are completed by the masterclass vocals of frontman Cedric Pfister. The Swiss 4-piece have created a track full of swagger, ambition and drive which oozes with sexuality.
Cedric states:
“This song has been with us from the very early days of Daxx & Roxane back in Switzerland. So when we started working on the new album, we were looking for a track to announce this new LP. We needed a track that would burst in like a mean machine, so we dug out Fast Lane and re-worked it.From the start it grabs you and takes you on a journey straight to the Daxx & Roxane roots!”
2019 saw Daxx & Roxane reach a staggering 150% of their kick-starter campaign to fund their second long player which is due out in May 2020. The album was produced by Temple of One / ex Inglorious axeman Colin Parkinson.
Colin states:
“It’s been great creating music with Daxx and Roxane. They have a great energy about them and it shows in songs like ‘Fast Lane’ which is a no nonsense rock ‘n’ roll track. Check the riff out!”
Formed in 2013 in their native land of Switzerland Daxx & Roxane have since released their “4×4’ E.P to glowing reviews, which spawned two singles ‘Wrong Side’ and ‘Girl Next Door’ and debut album ‘Ticket To Rock’ in April of 2017 which also spawned two singles ‘Ticket To Rock’ and ‘Leaving For Tomorrow’. These, along with ‘Junk Food Hangover’, all spent 10 weeks on the Planet Rock playlists respectively. They have an extensive live experience under their belt, including: support slot for HIM at the Roundhouse, live performance at prestigious festivals such as: Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland) and Stone Free Festival (UK) and tours with Bad Touch (2018) and King Creature and Deever (2019).
Daxx are set to take ‘Fast Lane’ out on the road on a headline UK tour this coming March.
