Stonedead Festival is proud to be sponsoring FOUR very special charities this year!

We understand that the last few years have been tough for many of us. This extends to charitable organisations who, despite facing some of the hardest years in fundraising, have continued to work hard and do their very best for the people that need them the most. Now it’s our turn to give back!

The charities that we are teaming up with for 2022 are:

MIND (https://www.mind.org.uk/)

Andy’s Man Club (https://andysmanclub.co.uk/)

RBLR (https://rblr.org.uk/main/)

Barnardo’s (https://www.barnardos.org.uk/)

A word from our Directors on why these particular charities are important to us…

Our mental health is the most powerful and important thing we have. It’s important we look after ourselves and know that it’s OK not to be OK & it’s good to talk.  We have a well-being tent situated in the arena if you fancy a chat and cuppa, don’t be a stranger.  Nobody is ever alone at Stonedead.

– Chis Sumby

We have several ex service personnel on the crew with a number of the festival goers also Military veterans. I chose the RBL as one of our Charities as they were incredibly helpful to me personally when I left the Army after my 23 years service. The annual Poppy appeal and remembrance services on Armistice day are internationally recognised symbols of the sacrifice made by all service personnel in all conflicts. My son, Brandon, and his friend, Cam,  completed a 50 mile sponsored run for the charity last year raising almost £2000 and the collections on Show day add to their coffers considerably. We are immensely proud to support our ex servicemen and the Royal British Legion at Stonedead.

At 11:11 on the Saturday of the show I hold a toast for Absent friends at the Bar. RBL Flag bearers are present as well as many Stonedead friends, ( ex servicemen or not ) to start the festival proceedings off with a nod to those who can’t make it. Everyone is welcome to attend. SYATB

Stonedead considers that our future is our children and as such supports the amazing work of Barnardos. They protect support and nurture children, that can include rescuing them from a life of poverty wanting the best outcome possible for every one of them.

If you want to join Stonedead in supporting them you will find their stand within our Arena where they will only be too pleased to see you.

We would like to thank each and every one of you that come to Stonedead Festival and kindly ask that if you would like to show your support to any of the above organisations, please head over to their websites to donate and follow our socials for important updates. We will also have donations points in the arena on the day of the festival.
