On February 10th, Parkway Drive came to Long Island, and they brought an amazing bill with them. It’s been about 6 years since the last time they were on the Island, so seeing them at that venue for the first time for me was incredible.

First up was Currents. This is a band I love. I was hooked the first time I heard them, and every show I’ve seen them at has been better and better. They played mostly songs off “The Way It Ends” and their upcoming album, “Vengeance”, they were on top of their game. I was pleased to see they still kept “Better Days” in the set for this cycle because that’s one of my favorites. This is a band everybody needs to check out.

Next was Memphis May Fire. I’m gonna be honest, I always passed this band by, and after this show I regret it. They mainly played their new album with two oldies, “Vices” and “The Sinner”, and their set blew me away. From start to finish, I was digging it all. “Blood & Water” had me hooked, and I’m glad I was able to see these guys.

Lastly was the headliner Parkway Drive. I love this band, they’re a big inspiration for me musically. Opening with “Glitch”, fans were loving both the new songs and the old ones. Although, I’ve never seen more movement at that venue than when they started “Carrion”. That intro scream, the venue was the loudest I’ve ever heard it. Closing with “Crushed” and “Wild Eyes”, the show kept old and new fans happy.

If this tour hits your town, you do not wanna miss this!!!
