Sebastian Bach’s long-awaited return to the solo spotlight with Child Within the Man showcases a rejuvenated artist at the peak of his prowess. Following years of global touring, Bach collaborates with producer Michael Baskette and a talented backing band, reaffirming his status as a 90s rock icon.

Born in the Bahamas and raised in Ontario, Canada, Sebastian Bach rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the iconic rock band Skid Row in the late 1980s. With hits like “18 and Life” and “I Remember You,” Skid Row became one of the most influential bands of the era, catapulting Bach to international stardom.

After leaving Skid Row in the mid-1990s, Bach embarked on a successful solo career, releasing albums and touring extensively around the world. However, since 2014, Bach abstained from solo releases due to extensive global touring commitments, making Child Within the Man a highly anticipated comeback.

The album’s production quality is stellar, evoking the raw energy of classic hard rock. From the commanding opener “Everybody Bleeds” to the introspective “What do I got to lose?”, Bach effortlessly navigates through a range of emotions, supported by catchy hooks and impassioned vocals.

Standout tracks like “Hard Darkness” and “Vendetta” showcase Bach’s versatility, blending metal-infused elements with innovative concepts. The album also features special appearances by renowned musicians such as John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi, adding depth to the already rich sound.

Recorded in Orlando, Florida, under Baskette’s expert guidance, Child Within the Man boasts 11 tracks penned or co-written by Bach himself. With Myles Kennedy joining forces on two songs, the album is a testament to Bach’s songwriting prowess and artistic vision.

Backed by Devin Bronson, Todd Kerns, and Jeremy Coulson, Bach delivers a tour de force performance, reaffirming his autonomy from the Skid Row legacy and signaling a new chapter in his storied career.

Overall, Child Within the Man is a triumphant return for Sebastian Bach, setting the stage for an extensive global tour and solidifying his status as a profoundly talented artist poised for continued success.
