Alabama rock’n’roll sensations The Red Clay Strays have announced their highly anticipated new album Made By These Moments, which will be released on July 26th via RCA Records (pre-order/pre-save here).

The Red Clay Strays announced the album on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last week where they performed the brand new single ‘Wanna Be Loved’. Watch the performance here and watch the official music video here.

Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell) and recorded at Cobb’s studio in Georgia, Made by These Moments is filled with the band’s signature genre-blending sound, as they meld electric rock and roll with southern soul. Across these eleven tracks, The Red Clay Strays explore fundamental elements of the human condition, reflecting on faith, love and redemption.

Of the project, lead singer Brandon Coleman shares, “Made by These Moments shines a light on overcoming the battles we face in life like loneliness, depression, and hopelessness. We hope you listen and recognise that our pain has a purpose.”

One of music’s fastest rising bands, The Red Clay Strays are Coleman (lead vocals, guitar), Drew Nix (electric guitar, vocals, harmonica), Zach Rishel (electric guitar), Andrew Bishop (bass) and John Hall (drums). Formed in Alabama in 2016, the group are currently in the midst of a breakout year, as they are nominated Emerging Act of the Year at the 2024 Americana Music Awards and continue to achieve massive success with their single, ‘Wondering Why’.

With over 100 million streams to date, the track spent a week at No.1 on Spotify’s Viral 50 USA Playlist and six consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Americana Singles chart. The song also reached No.84 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, No.7 on Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs chart, No.16 on the Billboard AAA chart and No.18 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and continues to gain support across genres.

‘Wondering Why’ is from the band’s 2022 debut album Moment of Truth, which was brought to a global audience earlier this month following its breakout success in the States.

They are currently selling out major theatres and arenas across the USA, and the band have become one of the most-talked about and exciting acts to explode across the American music scene in recent years. The Red Clay Strays have just added more dates in the autumn to their extensive 2024 tour schedule, which also includes a stadium performance in support of The Rolling Stones in Massachusetts this evening (May 30th).

They are selling out and upgrading shows on both sides of the Atlantic, after requiring upgrades to UK venues in just a matter of days of going on sale. The Red Clay Strays will embark on their debut headline tour of the UK & Ireland in August, performing four dates including London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on August 23rd. The following day they will also perform at The Long Road Festival.
