earMUSIC Concludes Epic SAVATAGE Vinyl Reissue Campaign with Japan Live ‘94 Release

SAVATAGE's Iconic 'Japan Live ‘94' Makes Vinyl Debut in Landmark Release...

earMUSIC is thrilled to announce the culmination of an extraordinary journey celebrating the legacy of heavy metal legends, SAVATAGE. Over the past three years, earMUSIC has meticulously re-released the entire studio album back catalogue of SAVATAGE on heavyweight, high-quality 12″ LPs. This remarkable project spans from the debut album Sirens (1983) to Poets And Madmen (2001), bringing long-sought-after classics back to vinyl enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.

In a heartfelt tribute to the late Criss Oliva, SAVATAGE and earMUSIC commemorated his unparalleled contributions with the release of Ghost In The Ruins on vinyl for the first time on October 27, 2023. This release not only honored Criss Oliva’s memory but also marked a significant milestone in the band’s illustrious career.

The final chapter of this reissue journey arrives with the eagerly anticipated vinyl release of Japan Live ‘94 on August 9th, 2024. Live albums capture sonic snapshots, preserving and memorializing amplified moments in time. For those present, they offer the ability to relive an aural experience, and for others, they serve as the ultimate souvenir, capturing the essence of an artist or band at a specific moment.

Japan Live ‘94 is particularly significant as it encapsulates a crucial and transformative period for SAVATAGE. Despite facing profound tragedy and significant personnel changes, the band stood resolute. This double LP release features the complete show in its entirety for the first time on audio, with all 16 songs presented in their original running order and newly mastered for vinyl.

Presented on heavyweight black vinyl, the album is packaged in a deluxe gatefold with the original cover design. Fans will also appreciate the brand-new liner notes by Clay Marshall and the inclusion of rare memorabilia, making this a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

The Japan Live ‘94 release marks the end of a significant era, but it also celebrates a band whose journey, from Sarajevo to Siberia, continues to inspire and captivate audiences 30 years later with no end in sight.
