Progressive Metal Band Echosoul Drops Powerful Anthem Ahead of Fall Album Release

Guy Hinton's Echosoul Continues Metal Mastery with 'Path of the Righteous'...

Echosoul, the progressive metal powerhouse known for their dynamic sound and powerful collaborations, is gearing up for a momentous year with the release of their latest single and upcoming album.

Founded in 2019 by guitarist and songwriter Guy Hinton (formerly of Apparition), Echosoul made waves internationally with their debut album, earning accolades such as “Album of the Year” in Germany and achieving Top 10 status across Europe, despite launching during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their new single, “Path of the Righteous,” is described as a blend of progressive and power metal with influences ranging from Iron Maiden to Dream Theater. Featuring slamming drums by Tyler Witte and emotive vocals by Rob Lundgren (Reveal, The Mentalist), the track is a testament to resilience and courage in the face of adversity.

We wanted to create something that resonates with listeners on a deep emotional level,” says Hinton. “The song explores themes of love, honor, and the inner strength needed to overcome obstacles.

The band’s upcoming second album, titled “Time of the Dragon,” is slated for release in November and promises to build on their signature sound. The album features guest appearances from notable musicians including Andy LaRocque (King Diamond) and Giampiero Presilli (Steve Vai touring musician), adding further depth to Echosoul‘s sonic landscape.

We’ve poured our hearts into this album,” shares Hinton. “It’s a culmination of our experiences and a reflection of the human spirit.

Echosoul‘s journey is not just about music but also about storytelling through their lyrics, which delve into personal struggles and triumphs. The band believes in the power of music to connect and inspire, aiming to resonate with listeners on a profound level.

With multiple singles scheduled for release throughout the summer and fall, Echosoul is poised to captivate audiences once again with their blend of melodic orchestrations and thunderous metal riffs.

For fans eagerly awaiting their next chapter, “Path of the Righteous” is now available on major streaming platforms. Stay tuned for more updates and the lyric video release in September, as Echosoul continues to push the boundaries of progressive metal.
