Five Finger Death Punch’s Summer/Fall North American tour erupted at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, August 14th, with a blistering display of raw power. Sharing the stage with the theatrical shock rock of The Funeral Portrait and Marilyn Manson, as well as the unbridled ferocity of deathcore giants Slaughter to Prevail, the arena was electrified by a relentless onslaught of metal from start to finish.

The night kicked off with The Funeral Portrait, whose modern rock theatrics and raw emotion immediately gripped the audience. Lead vocalist Lee Jennings commanded the stage with a magnetic presence, his voice soaring over the crowd as powerful riffs and haunting melodies filled the air. Despite their brief 25-minute set, The Funeral Portrait made a lasting impression, showcasing why they are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the rock scene.

Next up, Slaughter to Prevail unleashed a punishing barrage of metal that left the crowd in awe. From Alex Terrible’s guttural vocals to the crushing guitars and thunderous drums, their performance was a masterclass in brutality. The energy in the arena was palpable, with mosh pits erupting as the band tore into their viral hit “Viking,” sparking a frenzy of headbanging. The Russian juggernauts brought a commanding stage presence, blending sheer aggression with a chilling, almost theatrical atmosphere that put deathcore’s intensity on full display.

Marilyn Manson took the stage next, his iconic presence sending the crowd into a frenzy. After a hiatus from touring and a journey toward sobriety, Manson delivered a performance that was arguably his best in years. Backed by a stellar band, including bassist Piggy D, Reba Meyers from Code Orange, Tyler Bates, and drummer Gil Sharone, Manson led the audience through a journey of his greatest hits, including “The Dope Show,” “The Beautiful People,” and his new single “As Sick as the Secrets Within.” The show was a visually and mentally engaging spectacle, far exceeding expectations. Should Manson overcome his legal battles, it’s clear the king of shock rock still has plenty left in the tank.

Finally, Five Finger Death Punch took the stage, launching into an explosive set with a thunderous drum solo and a dazzling light show. The band delivered a performance brimming with rock energy and undeniable showmanship. Ivan Moody’s gritty vocals resonated throughout the arena, while Zoltan Bathory’s blistering guitar solos and Chris Kael’s pounding bass rhythms kept the adrenaline surging. The setlist was a perfect blend of the band’s biggest hits and fan-favorite deep cuts, maintaining an unrelenting pace that kept the crowd on their feet. Showers of confetti and custom 5FDP bills added to the spectacle, while genuine moments of interaction between the band and the audience created a personal connection amid the chaos. By the night’s end, Five Finger Death Punch had once again cemented their status as one of modern metal’s most dominant forces, with no signs of slowing down.

Five Finger Death Punch’s Summer/Fall tour is an adrenaline-fueled ride from start to finish, a perfect storm of brutal metal and shock rock that demands to be seen. Fans of the genre will find plenty to love, making this tour a must-see event. The energy is palpable, the performances unforgettable, and the experience one that metal fans won’t want to miss.
