US party people SMW & The House Party Band release new single “LOVE VIBRATION” on December 20th and we’re proud to present the track in all of it’s glory below.
With more energy than the bunny from the Duracel batteries adverts on tv, a vibe [pun intended] that channels the spirit of Journey, Foreigner and thanks to some fantastic guitar work, 1984 era Van Halen. Add to that the experience the band have had treading the boards in musical theatre and we have a band who clearly know how to straddle the defining line between musicianship and performance.
We’ve always been fans of artists that can bring “the show” to the table, as opposed to those that think the music speaks for itself and play live in nothing more than jeans and t-shirts. Sean Matthew Whiteford and the House Party Band (SMW&THPB – for it is a mouthful) deliver on all counts. One only has to check out Sean’s satin shell suits to see just where his decade of inspiration lies. Either that or he’s Australia’s break-dancing sensation RayGun’s biggest fan! You decide !
Either way, he and the band return with Love Vibration which you can hear below. Speaking about the new release, Sean told us,
“Love Vibration is our fourth single that we’ve released this year, and it’s my favorite one yet. It’s a fun ode to Van Halen with our own unique flair.”
That fun vibe that carries across all of the band’s singles to date helps define their goal which Sean states as:
“My mission with this band is to lift vibrations, build community, and to create a sound of joy and hope. Life can feel so heavy; I think it’s ok to drop everything for 3 minutes and dance or scream it out. I want this music to give folks the permission to do that.
We are building our catalog, one single at a time, with the goal of an EP to be released in 2025.”:
