Whenever I see the name of the legendary Swedish singer Goran Edman, it brings back memories of the glorious 1990s. He sang on many albums starting in the 1980s, but after singing on two early 90s records of Yngwie Malmsteen, Goran was sought after for many projects and bands throughout the past 30+ years. His finest moment was singing the classic AOR tune “Back On The Streets” on the first John Norum album.

His amazing high-pitched vocal skills were astonishing, and even now in 2025 he still sounds great on the album “Endless Life” by guitarist/keyboardist/bassist/composer Boguslaw Balcerak. Musically speaking, this is classic 90s neo-classical European melodic metal for the Japanese market at its best. It’s like a nostalgic trip without sounding dated, and the performance is excellent, both vocally and in the 12 songs themselves.

The absolute highlights are “Train To Nowhere,” “King Of The Hill,” “Hard Enough,” and “Feel For Love.” If you remember the classic days of Royal Hunt, Ring of Fire, Yngwie Malmsteen and similar artists, you will absolutely love this excellent release!
