The legendary New England Metal & Hardcore Festival (NEMHF) has announced its highly anticipated return, featuring an absolutely stacked lineup headlined by deathcore titans LORNA SHORE. The iconic festival, which has been a cornerstone of the extreme music scene since 1999, promises to deliver its most concentrated dose of sonic devastation yet.
This year’s edition will showcase a murderer’s row of heavyweight acts including death metal legends CANNIBAL CORPSE, metalcore crushers KUBLAI KHAN TX, melodic death metal masters THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, and a rare, historic final performance from BURY YOUR DEAD featuring their classic lineup with Matt Bruso, Mark Costello, Brendan “Slim” MacDonald, and Aaron “Bubble” Patrick.
“We’ve done this fest over a bunch of formats through the years — two days, three days, you name it,” says co-founder Scott Lee. “This time, it’s one day, but we didn’t cut corners. This lineup is stacked from top to bottom. We’re bringing you the best of the best. All gas, no brakes. Weeeeeee.”
The single-day assault will also feature an impressive undercard including DRAIN, SANGUISUGABOGG, MUNICIPAL WASTE, MADBALL, FULL OF HELL, and many more, representing the full spectrum of extreme music from hardcore to death metal and everything in between.
Since its launch in 1999, NEMHF has hosted genre-defining acts like Megadeth, Lamb Of God, and Meshuggah, cementing its status as an essential pilgrimage for metal and hardcore fans. Following its triumphant return in 2023, this year’s festival continues the tradition of bringing together the most brutal and influential bands in the scene.
