Bad Attitude is the official full-length debut CD of DREW CAGLE & THE REPUTATION. This (one-man) band is settled in Central Illinois, USA, and is based around singer/songwriter/guitarist DREW CAGLE. He was joined by well-known session musicians called THE REPUTATION (consisting of musicians who played with TOTO, ELTON JOHN, TAYLOR SWIFT, KENNY CHESNEY, POST MALONE, etc. etc.) and producer MATT COLES (THE EAGLES) in a studio in Nashville, USA. Together they recorded a great 80s hard rock oriented album that is a must-have if you miss the glorious days of bands like FIREHOUSE, WHITE LION, L.A. GUNS, GUNS’N’ROSES, BLACK’N’BLUE, KIX, VAIN, MOTLEY CRUE… 8 songs are included in total, and thanks to the assistance of the aforementioned producer and the musicians, Drew was able to record a very strong, impressive record. He has a strong voice and delivers on the guitar as well.

Opener “All Figured Out” shows right away that this is cool, straight-ahead, uptempo, ballsy melodic hardrock in the best 80s American Hardrock style, so with a hair/sleaze metal touch, and actually it reminds me of L.A. GUNS. Not a strange comparison, because the following song is the titletrack, Bad Attitude, which features none other than TRACII GUNS, and also this song is a killer 80s uptempo sleazy hardrock piece. The other 6 songs continue this kick ass hardrock style, with further highlights including “If It’s Not Too Late,” “So Cold,” and the closing semi-melodic rockballad “Wine Talkin’.”

Without a doubt, this is a highly recommended CD if you miss the days of the classic American 80s Hardrocksound! Especially recommended to fans of VAIN, BLACK’N’BLUE and L.A. GUNS!
