Pretty solid production overall and a more then capable lead singer in Walkenhorst. Plenty of material to grind your teeth to as the album tops at 13 tracks with most of them delivering the goods with only a few clunkers. A band that probably won’t get much play simply because of the way the scene is now a days, you would be smart enough to check them out just cause I said so.
Anaal Nathrakh’s Desideratum isn’t for everybody, but extreme metal fans that like a different take on some styles of metal that have a bad tendency to be bland this is a great album to check out. It’s brutally heavy yet is nuanced enough where it keeps you interested in what’s going on.
Well this way certainly an odd little release this one. THE WAY OF PURITY is a concept band shrouded in mystery that unintentionally border on being a comedy act.
