The all-star project AOR is back! Directed by Frederic Slama and released through Perris Records, their new release is entitled: “Rare Tracks & Demos”.
Stewart added the depth, volume and magnificence to every track. Jeff Lynne needs an orchestra to help him do this, Stewart does it on his own!
There have already been some top-notch albums released this year from some AOR stalwarts, but Newman, especially with Ariel, is as deserving to be mentioned in the same breath as bands like Harem Scarem, Jaded Heart, and Hardline.
Stan Bush may not be a household name, despite the lasting legacy of his song “The Touch” (I’d wager there are a ton of people that know that song the instant it starts yet would struggle to name the man responsible for it,) but he should be.
“The Heart of L.A” is a compilation of best songs ever, fourteen tracks and two bonuses, where we can find great melodies and lyrics.
Excellent musicians together made this album with all their passion and admirable capacities.
