There’s a 20 year gap in the middle and to be frank, it’s not missed in the least. Todd sings the classic tracks as if they are and have always been his and his style suits the band so well it’s not surprising he’s been so well accepted by fans around the world.

The past number of years have seen the band build a very solid reputation supporting and touring with internationally renowned bands such as Black Label Society, Crowbar, Corrosion of Conformity, Conan, Jinjer, Planet of Zeus and Yawning Man amongst many others and also sharing a stage with numerous prominent underground bands playing both headliner and support slots.

While there are no-brainers like Sabaton, Anthrax, and the Scorpions, there are so many bands on offer that it’s possible to miss out on something special. So with no further ado, here are our bands to see for Bloodstock 2019.

The thing with Ethereal is… I think we all have an idea of how Ethereal should sound. We know what that is. There’s something kind of natural to it when we’re together and playing, but at the same time it doesn’t seem right to cite any influences for this band because we’re five people from very different walks of life with some extremely differing tastes coming together with the same objective of creating really black metal with absolute full force.
