It’s a pastiche of space rock, fuzz guitars, and a very progressive approach while at the same time tapping into a melodic pop type of style too
Overall this isn’t a bad EP. If like me you are a bit dubious about covers, this one is an easy listen, with “Suffragette City” and “Life In The Fast Lane” giving good versions of classics. “Iron Fist” is good, if you like your covers to be a clone of the original.
Hopefully you’re able to cast aside any judgments you may have about Anselmo long enough to listen to this brilliant EP.
