Musically it’s an interesting mix of say DIO and JUDAS PRIEST all mixed in with a slight touch of Thrash Metal, which does make for something that sounds a little bit unique in certain songs. The high-point for me personally on DEVIL’S BREATH would have to be the interesting lead guitar work…
A guest vocal duet appears courtesy of Oliver Hartmann on the song “Keep on Moving” and it leads to a more heartbeat pacer which steams with 80’s vibes all over.
After that opening song is freaking vertigo waiting to happen, couldn’t not really sink into the I don’t give a crap attitude of “J C Superfuck”, the band’s next stumble into “Window” which is one of the weak moments on here, the vocal harmonization is not that great and it sounds off beat a bit.
So far is early for the genre in terms of outstanding releases with projects like the new Toby Hitchcock, and the Bobby Kimball/Jimi Jamison looming in the works. I say the top albums so far this year have been the Elevener and Bad Habit records. Let’s recap here what’s in store boys and girls..shall we?
The style the band introduces is a mix of all influential overall with a little of death and roll ala latter day Sentenced, some new modern wave Punk and Roll mixed with a little bit of Motorhead. Sounds like a sick twisted of energy all clammed into one high explosion eruption…..yes you’re right thtese guys have energy to burn in the thousands.
