To celebrate what would have been the start of one of the most highly anticipated tours of the year, showcasing four of the world’s very best metal bands, The Metal Tour Of The Year will be broadcasting a mammoth streaming event this Friday, June 12th beginning at 2pm PST/5pm EST/10pm BST/11pm CET. The stream will be hosted by SiriusXM’s Jose Mangin and will feature full sets from Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Trivium and In Flames along with an exclusive interview with each band prior to the broadcast of their set.

The last day of the Bloodstock festival is always a bittersweet affair. On one hand, people can be seen packing up their tents and the disappointing truth that the fun is almost over for another year is on everyone’s mind.
In the early days of Megadeth we had success in spite of ourselves [laughing]. We were young, wild, and rocking hard but there came a point in the 90’s when we realized we had to change our lifestyle and how we operated.
I’m not sure there is a more polarizing metal band around than Megadeth, and most of that polarization stems from main man Dave Mustaine.
It’s no surprise then that Adler is double-jobbing on this European co-headlining tour. And with two 75 minute sets each night, that dude is playing his ass off.
