Mooncry – Rivers Of Heart

I’m glad to say that this time around everything has been significantly improved and now the band can begin their assault with a pretty darn good record behind them. There’s still not quite enough here for this to be a massive album for them, but if they can keep improving at such a fast pace maybe they do have an epic album coming in the future…

Vicious Rumors – Razorback Killers

The interesting melodies and shift in rhythms have always been something that made the band stand out on their own and on this new upcoming album the formula keeps ticking like an old school clock who just refuses to die. Power Quest – Blood Alliance

Man have I been waiting for this for a long time, not the album in particular per se, but more just for an album from Power Quest that I don’t have any complaints about. Their last few albums have all been pretty decent but each one has had particular faults that made them hard for me to really enjoy…

Stratovarius – Elysium

Who knew right? Maybe a come back album and perhaps their best since “Destiny” and “Infinite” for sure. I guess once you put all the crap behind you you still remember is all about the music and the fans and I hope Strato never forgets that message since they still have a very loyal fan base.
