Well, I have to say that 2011 was easily one of the best years for metal music in general in a long time. Awesome prog from bands like DREAM THEATER, VOYAGER and WHILE HEAVEN WEPT, great thrash from stalwarts like MACHINE HEAD, ANTHRAX and MEGADETH,
