The first few tracks of the set, giving us a taster of what to expect from the album will, I’m sure, result in a few more pre-orders of ‘Resist’.
Opeth is not to every metal fan’s taste, and there is some minor drunken heckling from the audience; however the selection of tracks in today’s show is well suited to the diverse crowd and seem to be equally appreciated by fans as well as those unfamiliar with their material

Overall a great night of terrific vocals, a great mix of styles, and two bands that feature great female vocals and vocalists period. Elize Ryd of Amaranthe is someone who you will hear from more and more in the future, and Sharon Den Adel has only solidified herself among the best female fronted metal vocalists today. Go out and see them live, entertainment at face value hits the States.
The look of the set is reminiscent of a steam punk feel with metal, lights and steam in view. The design is finished with heads from latest album ‘Hydra’ surrounding the large video screen behind the band. It was only a few years ago that the band were playing venues with a maximum capacity of say 5,000 people. Tonight we are looking at around a crowd of 10,000 or more.
WITHIN TEMPTATION are a great band, let me just put that out there right now. I am not a crazy fanatic as many are of this type of metal, I’m just a fan.
Pheww…..there’s is plenty to try to swallow down on For All We Know debut project, now I know why it took years for the album to complete, you can easily tell each song was carefully crafted to give birth to truly unique melodies and melting pot of talents.
