BURRIDGE

SINGLE: MODERN DAY LOVE AFFAIR – RELEASE DATE: 4th DECEMBER 2020

BURRIDGE is set to release her brand new single ‘Modern Day Love Affair’ on all streaming platforms on December 4th 2020.

The track is fast-paced assault to the senses, with its punchy drums, fuzzy guitar and the raw and demanding vocals of Bea. ‘Modern Day Love Affair’ brings together
the crunching riffs of early Skunk Anansie and the pop sensibilities of Elastica. A great pop-rock song!

Bea states:
“This track was written the day after a double date where the other couple couldn’t get over how in tune with each other me and the guy were. The song addresses
the reality of modern dating and how nothing is really what it seems in today’s society. It’s an open and honest response to a weird, self-destructive date.”
BURRIDGE. is a singer/songwriter from Scunthorpe who has been writing music for the past five years. She is heavily influenced by Fleetwood Mac, Motley Crue and
Nirvana. She makes loud music for angry girls.

Producer Sean Kennedy (Muzz, Shelly Ravid, Voicians) states:
I’ve worked with Bea Burridge for years – effectively acting as her producer and studio backing band during this time – so we’re now a very good creative team and
were able to overcome the difficulties that 2020 has thrown at us. I’ve always enjoyed working up melodies and riffs to Burridge’s heart on the sleeve, ‘diary-style’
lyrics. She writes ‘to the point’ so we tend to favour a punchy ‘in your face’ sound to the music. Modern Day Love Affair is a slight departure in production from
previous collaborations but one we’re both keen to explore further!”

‘Modern Day Love Affair’ is released on all streaming platforms on 4th December 2020
