Vicious Rumors the long running underground Trash Metal masters played live at The Studio at Webster Hall on a casual Tuesday on October 1st and gathering support from a couple of Trash warriors the likes of Seven Witches and Power Theory; they came, they saw and they conquered for the true metal heads that showed up that night. A gritty performance by all three bands proving that no matter how big or small the venue, they shred just the same.
If you recall VR tapped 21-year-old Dutch singer Nick Holleman (POWERIZED) to handle lead vocals on their current U.S. tour. Holleman replaces the most recent VICIOUS RUMORS singer Brian Allen, who missed this past spring’s European tour due to what was described by the band in an April 2013 statement as “sudden family matters. New singer or not the guys delivered on all angles. A varied tracklist features one of their new tunes “I Am The Gun” of their latest album “Electric Punishment” , as well as some killer numbers from their “Razorback Killers” shredfest the likes of “Murderball” and oldies such as “Digital Dictator”, “Lady Took a Chance” and “Worlds and Machines” to the pleasant surprise of long time fans. Like a well oiled machine, these long time metal heads keep the gears spinning; tick tock making for an always steady performance.

San Francisco Bay Area Metal Masters VICIOUS RUMORS are on the road with their “American Punishment” tour with special guest Seven Witches and Power Theory from Sept 18 to Oct 14 in the United States! VICIOUS RUMORS just returned from crushing the European Festival circuit finishing over 40 shows in Europe this year! All of this is in support of the highly acclaimed Electric Punishment album that was released via Steamhammer/SPV in 2013. The band is currently on the road and halfway through their planned 22 date US tour that keeps the VR ball rolling at full force!! Big plans for South America are in the works for March 2014 as VR continues to show no mercy devastating crowds around the world!!
