MARTYRD SET TO HIT THE ROAD WITH FEAR FACTORY AND SOILWORK

unnamed

New York-based Martyrd have been causing a buzz with their heavy yet challenging metal as of late, including a standout performance on the star-studded Motörhead’s Motorboat Cruise last September. And now, the group (which is comprised of Michael Andreas and Mike Kitsos on guitar, Randall Lee on drums, Brian Nichols on bass, and special guest vocalist Greg Giordano) will be hitting the road with another veteran/influential band, Fear Factory.

“We are all beyond excited to be hitting the road with Fear Factory and Soilwork,” says Andreas. “We all love both bands, and its awesome that we’ll be able to be able to tour with them. And not for just any tour, but for the 20th anniversary of ‘Demanufacture’! We got to play with some iconic acts on the Motorboat – Slayer, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, and of course, Motorhead (RIP Lemmy), so to be able to come from that and head straight into this tour is really incredible for us. We can’t wait to get started!”

Also on the horizon is the release of a new album, ‘Endless.’ “The album is really story driven – both musically and lyrically, every song is part of this big story. Each song stands by itself, but they’re all part of a bigger whole. Musically too – you’ll be able to listen to the whole album through as a single piece of music. We didn’t decide on the name ‘Endless’ until very late in the recording process. All the music and story was done, by that point, we had been in the studio for almost a year already, and the name seemed really fitting!”

In the meantime, you can get acclimated with the fast-rising Martyrd by viewing a video for their standout tune, “Faceless”: https://youtu.be/jsFQfmchMRM
