Deever are pleased to announce the release of their brand-new single ‘Waves’ on 9th August 2019. ‘Waves’ is fast paced punk-rock masterclass with its soaring rhythm section, hypnotic chorus and rip-roaring guitars, creating a song full of swagger and ambition. It shows Deever embrace the same punk rock sensibilities of the likes of their contemporaries from My Chemical Romance to The Wildhearts

Lead single Billy Taylor states, “Waves is a song where we really let loose on our punk influences. It’s one of the faster paced songs on the album and is always a fun one to play live. It’s a song about the effect words can have on you and how they can fester inside, specially when they come from someone you respect or love.”

‘Waves’ is the 4th single lifted from the critically acclaimed debut album ‘You Need This’ which came out in February of 2019 and was mastered by Nick Watson (Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Motörhead) The track will be accompanied by a brand new lyric video due out this July.

Deever will be hitting the road this July for a 5 date UK Headline tour. Support comes from Daxx & Roxane and King Creature. The band will also be opening Planet Rockstock this December
